Thirty-Second District PTA
Senior Scholarships

Thirty-Second District PTA awards up to six $500.00 scholarships to high school seniors graduating from Contra Costa County high schools that participate in an active PTSA. These scholarships focus on the categories of school volunteering, community service, personal challenge, and exemplification of PTA values.

Scholarships are distributed among these areas of focus, with two awards given to students at each of these three education paths:

• career or technical school

• community college

• four-year college

High school seniors will qualify for these scholarships if they:

• are members of their high school PTSA

• are students in good standing with a minimum grade point average of 2.0

• plan to attend an accredited career or technical school, community college, or four-year college

Scholarship funds are for educational expenses such as tuition, books and supplies, fees, or special needs services.
